 Shipping Policy

The freight calculator on our website advises a shipping price for your order. Due to multiple factors including over-length and over-weight surcharges, fuel levies, remote and rural areas and multiple areas using the same postcode, the freight calculator may not always be accurate. In most cases we will honour the price even when the actual shipping cost is higher than the freight calculator, however in some circumstances we won’t be able to deliver your order at the advertised price.

We therefore reserve the right not to deliver your order at the advertised price. This happens very rarely but if it does, we will never charge you extra without your permission - we will always contact you to advise and seek approval for any additional charge. You will have the option to pay an additional cost, have the order delivered to another destination such as a nearby freight depot, or to cancel your order.

For some remote or rural areas, shipments may only be able to be delivered to the nearest freight depot as local couriers may not be able to deliver. This will be the freight price that is shown. We apologise for the inconvenience but in this instance we have to work within the constraints of the couriers who carry out the deliveries.

Should you have any concerns about a delivery, you are welcome to contact us prior to your order and we can check and confirm details ahead of time.

We use established couriers to ensure your umbrella will arrive in new condition. If the order is able to be delivered to your property (instead of the closest freight depot), the delivery will be to your front door (ground floor only) or loading dock (multi-storey). Deliveries cannot be made to underground car parks as the delivery trucks cannot negotiate these spaces. Deliveries are made between 9:00am and 5:00pm on business days and not on weekends.

Most delivery prices are based on a single courier/driver who will unload your order immediately adjacent to the delivery vehicle. You may be asked to assist the driver to unload the item/s. Courier drivers are not our employees and are not required to carry your order to a desired location.

We endeavour to deliver your order promptly and at the lowest price, taking care to make sure your shipment is carefully packaged so that they arrive safely. We also maintain trading accounts with many of the major freight companies in Australia. We will select the company best able to deliver your order in a careful and timely manner.

If we are shipping to a private home/residence we will ask for an Authority to Leave (ATL). You can specify where the courier can leave the item such as ‘leave by the front door’ when you place your order either online or over the phone. PLEASE BE ADVISED: IF YOU HAVE ASKED US TO LEAVE ITEM/S UNATTENDED AT YOUR NOMINATED POINT OF DELIVERY, YOU ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR ANY THEFT OR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR TO THE PRODUCT/S.
